Supplies and templates will be provided.\nMeet the Candidates: Meet school board candidates\, including Jordyne Blaise and Sam Hershey\, and ask them questions about their work and their goals for Wake County.\nMeet the Teen and Young Democrats: Chat with representatives of the Teen Democrats and Young Democrats of Wake County to see how you can get involved in electing Democrats up and down the ballot.\n\nThis event is open to all\, but you must register to attend and receive location details. All candidates will get one (1) minute to provide an introductory statement. \n\nCandidates for non-contested seats will get an additional 1-2 minutes to share their ideas and plans.\nCandidates for contested seats below the 1st Vice Chair level will get 2-3 questions each to discuss\, depending on the time available\, plus a one (1) minute closing statement.\nIf the Chair or First Vice Chair seats are contested\, those candidates will get 3-4 questions each\, depending on the time available\, plus a 1.5 to 2 minute closing statement.
